Collection: Mini Handpans (Generation 7s)

The Mini (Travel) Handpan was introduced to the NovaPans store in October 2024 and has a particular advantage over preexisting handpans in that it is much smaller, easier to travel with, and has a distinctive higher pitch and therefore more soloistic sound.  

The diameter of the Mini (Travel) Handpan is 55cm / 21.6" which might not seem that much of reduction to the traditional sized handpan at 57cm / 22". However, as you will see in the video, that extra inch or two centimetres makes just that much difference to enable the Mini Handpan to be maneuvred so much more easily with just one handpan, be carried on the back without extending wider than the average sized human adult male, and play the higher range of the notes spectrum that isn't too high nor too shrill. The Mini Handpan which we deemed the "Travel" Handpan is exactly that; a handpan that is light, adorable, and still impressive when played.
