For the whole of the previous eleven tutorials we've been writing the ding note on the very central line of the staves. However, doing this was never entirely "accurate", not at least in terms of pitch (the position of the notes according to high or low they sound when put in order). So, in order to grow out of this, we have begun to write the ding down on what might be called the 6th lowest line. This "new" note is, in fact, positioned on a line which we don't draw in addition to the already-existing 5 lines but rather, through the note itself positioned at the bottom of the 5 lines.
